Prostate Checks
Prostate cancer is the second most common cause of cancer deaths in men in Ireland
A full prostate check includes a blood test (the PSA) and a direct check of the prostate which involves inserting a gloved finger into the back passage to check the prostate for lumps
Testicular Lumps
It is recommended that all men should check their testicles regularly for lumps.
This is best done in a warm shower
Should a man detect a lump that he is concerned about it is important to have it checked by a doctor
Sexual Health
Most sexually transmitted infections are easily treatable but only if they are detected
They will commonly show no symptoms
We can provide screening for all sexually transmitted infections on request
